De-Bloat Morning Drink
Kickstart Your Gut First Thing in the Morning
If you wake up feeling puffy, sluggish, or like your gut’s still sleeping — this drink is about to become your new morning ritual. These de-bloat morning cubes are packed with anti-inflammatory, digestion-loving ingredients that make it easy to support your gut health before you’ve even made your breakfast.
We’re combining gelled chia seeds, lemon juice, bone broth, and ginger into a soothing hot morning tonic that hydrates, stimulates digestion, and sets your metabolism on the right track — naturally.
Why it Works
Chia Seeds: Rich in soluble fiber and omega-3s, chia seeds help get your bowels moving and feed beneficial gut bacteria.
Bone Broth: Full of gelatin, collagen, and amino acids to soothe and support the gut lining.
Lemon Juice: Gentle detoxifier that helps stimulate bile and digestion.
Ginger: Anti-inflammatory and known to ease bloating, gas, and nausea.
Ingredients
For 1 batch of de-bloat cubes (makes ~10–12 servings):
Chia Gel:
3 tbsp chia seeds
1 cup water
Morning Cube Base:
½ cup fresh lemon juice (about 3–4 lemons)
½ cup bone broth (preferably organic, unsalted)
1 tbsp fresh shredded ginger
Instructions
1. Soak the Chia:
In a glass jar or bowl, combine chia seeds with 1 cup water. Stir well and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight until thickened and gelled.
2. Make the Base:
In a small bowl or measuring cup, mix together the lemon juice, bone broth, and freshly grated ginger.
Tip: Use a fine grater or microplane for the ginger so it blends well in the cubes.
3. Pour into Ice Cube Trays:
Fill silicone ice cube trays halfway with the lemon-broth-ginger mixture. Freeze for about 2 hours or until solid.
4. Add Chia Gel:
Once frozen, spoon about 1 teaspoon of chia gel on top of each cube. Spread gently and freeze again until fully solid.
5. Morning Use:
Pop 1–2 cubes into a mug and pour hot (not boiling) water over the top. Stir gently and sip slowly.
It’s earthy, slightly tangy, and deeply nourishing. When to Drink
